Howard J Smith F.inst.D, MCIM, DipM
Howard, born in 1949, is a fellow of the Institute of Directors, Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and holds a post graduate degree in marketing. He often lectures and holds workshops with groups of overseas companies taking their first steps in the UK market.

With over 20 years direct responsibility for success in market penetration, his focus is very much on achieving early sales, especially to reference accounts and creating a stable customer base from which to expand business.

He has extensive experience in strategic direction of UK and overseas organizations and re-alignment to achieve future objectives. This often involves the recruitment of key staff. His career has given him hands on responsibility for companies across the USA, Europe and Asia.

Living in Cambridgeshire, where the company is based, he is a keen golfer and is married to Denice. He has three children; is a school governor and is very much involved with the local community.

Denice Smith MCIM, DipM
Denice has been with BRMA for two years having worked in the insurance and telecoms industries. She has extensive experience in marketing management, marketing communications, business development and key account management. Denice is also an experienced event organiser including industry seminars and corporate conferences with over 250 delegates.

A golf enthusiast who also enjoys being involved in the local community as a school governor and chair of the village youth club committee Denice also has a keen interest in amateur dramatics and has taken a lead role in the village pantomime for the last three years.

Gemma Smith MCIM
Gemma is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is completing her Post Graduate Diploma in marketing while undertaking her role as Research Manager for BRMA. Gemma has worked in marketing since 2003 and has covered a wide variety of products and markets both domestically and overseas. She has a strong medical background having studied nursing at Canterbury Christ Church University.

Gem is a keen globetrotter and holds long term passions for rugby and the great outdoors not to mention her newly acquired love of motorcycles and adventure sports. She is very active and applies her energies to every aspect of her life.
